1/72 Heinkel
He 100V-8 „World Speed Record“
The by-product of the
W. Messerschmitt and for standard Luftwaffe
fighter was reaching the absolute World speed
records. On
31st March 1939, Heinkel He 100V-8 with H. Dieterle
at
the controls reached
top speed of 746.606 Kmh. This record was later
broke by Messerschmitt
Me 209V-1. E. Heinkel wanted to react, and He 100 was capable of
reaching higher speed but G. Goring
prohibited
further competitions.
So for political reasons the record stayed in
Messerschmitt. The kit contains two

photo-etched parts and

_____________________________________________________________________ PUR parts
- polyurethane resin parts. The technology of casting from
polyurethan resin allows the production of very precise parts,
which cannot be
replicated by injection moulding to this quality. It is an evident
enhancement to the basic kit. Photo-etched parts -
small detailed parts, of high-quality, made by etching from thin cooper
foil. ________________________________________________________________________________ We would very
