 NEW RELEASES 6/2007

Dear business friends,

Please be advised that MPM news in June 2007 are as follows:

Special Hobby #SH48050                           1/48

Blackburn Roc Mk.I

Similarly to RAF, the FAA put in service double seat, turret

equipped fighter prior the outbreak of the WW2. RAF fighter

Defiant was wasn’t too successful. The naval Blackburn Roc Mk.I

fighter developed from Skua Mk.II fighter bomber was a real

failure. It was soon withdrawn from combat units and transferred

to second line and training units. Even though, it was a part of

the Royal Navy’s equipment in the beginning of the WW2.

Kit contains four sprues with grey plastic parts and one sprue with

clear parts. Further it contains resin and photo-etched parts for

engine and turret. Decals offer four different aircraft. One machine

is in natural metal finish, two camouflaged machines of which L6R

as almost only one saw combat actions. The last machine has naval

camouflage but sports Finnish insignias.

Packing: 17 pcs/carton

Fiat G.55 Centauro Sottoserie 0

Fiat G.55 was the best aircraft that Italy could put in combat

in 1943. When the Armistice had been signed the Italy was in

return occupied by Wermacht. Fiat G.55s had been taken over

by Musolini’s Italian Social Republic (ANR) and defended the

north of Italy to 1944.

The kit of Fiat G.55 represents the first version equipped with

one cannon and four machine guns and older fin. It contains

our sprues with grey plastic parts and one sprue with clear parts.

The gun sight is resin cast and further details comprise photo-etched

parts. Decals offer one Reggia Aeronautica and two ANR aircraft.

One of them wears experimental camouflage consisting of three colors.

Packing: 17 pcs/carton

Special Hobby #SH32015                           1/32

Nieuport Nie-11 Bébe „French Aces“

Nieuport Nie 11 could be considered one of the first real fighter

aircraft of the Great War and also, one of the most famous aircraft

of that period of time. Except French AF, the maneuverable Nieuports

fought in air forces of Great Britain, Belgium, Italy, all Czars,

Burgeoisie and Bolshevik Russia and other states. Many pilots

flying Nieuports 11 became aces.

We are offering machines of three French Aces. Lt. Pierr Dufaur

de Gavardie’s machine sports fractional French tricolor. Peg legged

Lt. Paul Tarascon’s machine sports a rooster drawing. The last machine

belonged to Lt. Jean M. D. Navarre that also sports French tricolor.

The kit contains three sprues with grey plastic parts, resin and photo-

-etched parts for engine and cockpit.

Packing: 25 pcs/carton

Special Hobby #SH72117                            1/72

Heinkel He 100V-8 „World Speed Record“

The by-product of the W. Messerschmitt and E. Heinkel competition

for standard Luftwaffe fighter was reaching the absolute World speed

records. On 31st March 1939, Heinkel He 100V-8 with H. Dieterle at

the controls reached top speed of 746.606 Kmh. This record was later

broke by Messerschmitt Me 209V-1. E. Heinkel wanted to react, and

He 100 was capable of reaching higher speed but G. Goring prohibited

further competitions. So for political reasons the record stayed in

Messerschmitt.

The kit contains two sprues with grey plastic parts, injected canopy,

photo-etched parts and decals for two appearances of V-8 prototype.

Packing: 40 pcs/karton

PUR parts - polyurethane resin parts. The technology of casting from polyurethan resin allows the production of very precise parts,

which cannot be replicated by injection moulding to this quality. It is an evident enhancement to the basic kit.

Photo-etched parts - small detailed parts, of high-quality, made by etching from thin cooper foil.
