This limited issue kit offers you to build Whirlwinds different from the production machines. The decals and resin parts are designed for the second prototype L6845, the first prototype equipped with 37 mm cannon in modified nose and post-war civil Whirlwind – the Westland factory hack aircraft. The second prototype can be built in two different appearances. You can choose from overall green machine with P9 designation on fuselage or overall natural metal finish machine. During the trials of the 37 mm cannon the first prototype L6844 was camouflaged in war colors – Dark Green and Dark Earth on upper surfaces and yellow on lower ones. The civil machine was overall Extra Dark Sea Grey with white civil registration on fuselage and wings.
The kit contains two sprues with plastic parts, injected canopy and wing lights, detailed resin (including 37 mm cannon) and photo-etched parts.
