129-PLT252 (1/72)
Full resin kit of the British MB-2 fighter prototype. Except of the resin parts including variation of the tail planes the kit contains vacu-formed canopy and decals. MB-2 featured novel shapes, sophisticated design and production technologies. The aircraft was designed according to the F5/34 specifications by Martin and Baker design team. The aircraft took off for the first time in 1938. The original design didn't have any vertical fin but during the trials the fin was enlarged two times. Even with the weak engine the aircraft reached top speed of 515 kmh. The development was stopped since RAF preferred Hurricane and Spitfire.
