TBM-3E Avenger Conversion Set 1/48 / for Accurate/Academy kits

The TBM-3E was a light weight version of the Avenger that began to leave production lines in 1944. The improved weight enabled better performance, the addition of the APS-4 underwing radar meant that those Avenger could be used for night missions too. Our conversion covers both the external and internal modifications of the type, it offers new forward fuselage section, belly gunner position blank-off parts, arrestor hook, starboard wing radar set, and the interior radar contols. The conversion combines are 3D printed and resin cast parts. Designed for the Accurate Miniatures model or its reboxings by Italeri and Academy. The decal sheet offers markigns for two US Navy machines that flew in the PTO in the final stage of WW2.
